Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement

We successfully recruited Camilo, a talented Colombian chef, directly from Bogota. Initially joining as a chef de partie, he quickly rose to the position of head chef at a renowned French café and restaurant on Bowen Island, celebrated for its high-quality cuisine. Leading a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, Camilo has made a significant impact. Through the LMIA-exempt Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, we facilitated his swift relocation to Canada. Additionally, we secured an open work permit for his wife, enabling them to settle and build their new life together on Bowen Island.
